Wellbeing is the new 'catch phrase' in schools. What does it really mean?

It is about the 'whole person'... physical, spiritual, cognitive, social and emotional. It is not only relevant for our children, it is also significant for us, as teachers. Wellbeing is on the National Agenda for schools. It cannot be ignored.

DEEWR Scoping Study on Student Wellbeing 2009 states: "Student wellbeing is a sustainable state of positive mood and attitude, resilience, and satisfaction with self, relationships and learning experiences at school."
